- MAX fuses: also known simply as MAX fuses, are larger blade-type fuses designed to handle higher current loads. They are commonly used in automotive applications where high current protection is required, such as in the main fuse box or for circuits like the alternator and starter.
- ATC Fuses: ATC fuses are fully enclosed in plastic, meaning the metal blades are not exposed beyond the plastic housing. This helps protect the fuse from dirt and moisture.
- ATO Fuses: ATO fuses have an open design, with the metal blades slightly exposed at the bottom of the fuse. Both ATC and ATO fuses are physically interchangeable and can generally be used in the same fuse holders.
- ATM fuses: also known as mini blade fuses, are similar to ATC fuses but are smaller in size.
- ATR fuses: also known as micro2 fuses, are even smaller than ATM fuses.
